Different Types of Countertops and Pricing
When it comes to your kitchen countertop or bathroom vanity tops there are a lot of different options from granite to quartz to the newly popular porcelain panels.
This is a guide to try to help you understand the differences in material, durability, and price.
I’ll list them from least to most expensive below and include some photos.
Granite Countertops
-
Standard Pattern/Colors
-
More colors, different pattern options
-
Extravant colors/patterns.
Quartz Countertops
-
Standard quartz usually has minimal veins and/or just a standard pattern.
-
Premium is normally calcutta or something with large veins or extravagant designs.
-
Caesarstone, Silestone, Cambria blah blah blah.. They do have some beautiful countertop designs, but in my opinion you’re paying for the name just the same as when you buy Nike shoes or a Mercedes Benz. But if you drive a Mercedes, you may want to go with
Porcelain Slab Countertops from Crossville Studios
